Organizations Mercey Springs Foundation has supported

 

  • Lady Dragons, www.SacHighAthletics.com.  Sponsored two young women to attend a regional basketball competition
  • Bread of Life, www.breadoflife.org.  Provided a scholarship for the Contemplative Dialogue class to offset costs for several students 
  • International Healers Without Borders: Provided gap funding for first fundraising event;
  • Painting for Miracles shares stories from The Children’s Miracle Network with local artists who interpret their thoughts through art. In 2008, they raised $14,000 to benefit this worthwhile charity. Participation directly benefits the sick and injured children of Sacramento, as UC Davis Children’s Hospital provides state-of-the-art medical care, life saving research and preventative education for children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.   • DreamBuilders/Challenging Their Destiny - www.ctddreams.org - We provided several program grants and have sponsored numerous events for the youth
  • LifeSTEPS - www.lifestepsusa.org - Underwrote the cost of transportation for students touring local colleges
  • 12 Ways to Success (formerly Juveniles At Risk)
    Provided grant to enhance programs at school. Also provide a
    volunteer to sit on the Board of Directors 
  • Access Leisure – www.accessleisuresac.org
    Sponsored $1000 for the Yosemite Rock-n-Roll run. 

  • Advanced Student Connection – www.ascprep.com
    Provided a scholarship for a foster child to go through the program as
    well as contributed to basketball clinics

  • Casey Families Welcome Home Program – www.casey.org
    Paid for one year at storage unit so that more donations could be obtained (furniture and household good for foster children aging out of the system and setting up their own apartments/homes).

  • Community Pride Project’s LIFT Mentoring Program – www.cppsac.org
    Sponsored bus for field trip to UC Davis  

  • Happy Tails – www.happytails.org
    Featured organization at two MSF fundraising events and donated a portion of our proceeds 

  • Kids Served in Luv (Krazy Sac Ladz Car Club)
    Provided financial and volunteer support for annual program providing backbacks to low/no income children. Also served holiday meal for children at risk.

  • Lymphoma & Leukemia Society – www.leukemia-lymphoma.org
    Sponsored two runners in marathon

  • Creative Arts Healing Program Supported program to be taught at Folsom Prison for one year. This program is now a part of Mercey Springs Foundation!

  • Nursing Home Nannies – www.nursinghomenannies.com
    Provided funding to develop website and promotional material. 

  • Parent Information Exchange
    Provided funding to print parent information booklets

  • Project RIDE – www.projectride.org
    Featured organization at two MSF fundraising events and donated a portion of our proceeds

  • Samaritan Counseling Center – www.samaritancounseling.com
    Grant funds were used to open additional counseling slots for low income families

  • Wellspring Women’s Center – www.wellspringwomen.org
    Featured at two fundraising events and donated a portion of the proceeds and supported Wellsprings annual banquet and annual charity golf tournament.
